Answer:

Name of interviewee: Rosa Parks

Short Description: Rosa Louise McCauley Parks was an American activist in the civil rights movement best known for her pivotal role in the Montgomery bus boycott.

What impact has this person had on your life: Called "the mother of the civil rights movement," Rosa Parks invigorated the struggle for racial equality when she refused to give up her bus seat to a white man in Montgomery, Alabama. Parks' arrest on December 1, 1955 launched the Montgomery Bus Boycott by 17,000 black citizens.

Rosa parks has inspired me by fighting for racial equality, she had not only stood up for herself, but her movement has led to more equality between other dark skinned people and white skinned. Rosa Parks has made the possibility of equality within her time possible, letting me know anyone, not just a male such as Martin Luther King Jr, could achieve this goal.

Why do you consider this person an example to follow: I consider her an example to follow because she, a female, has stood up for what she believes is right. Rosa Parks has taken feminism to the next level, and made sure that the racial barriers crumbled down, making me think that the same thing could still happen this day. She has inspired me.

What information would you like to know/obtain when interviewing this person: When interviewing this person, I'd like to know if there had been any circumstance before where she had been forced to give something up for a white skinned person. And what she had truly wanted to do in that scenario.
