Answer:

Explanation:

Karl Marx. Karl Marx based his conflict theory on the idea that modern society has only two classes of people: the bourgeoisie and the proletariat. The bourgeoisie are the owners of the means of production: the factories, businesses, and equipment needed to produce wealth. The proletariat are the workers.

According to Marx, social change occurs as a sequel to class struggle. ... As such, class distinctions did not exist. With the emergence of the private ownership of the forces of production, however, the fundamental contradictions or class distinctions were created.

Marx's most popular theory was 'historical materialism', arguing that history is the result of material conditions, rather than ideas. He believed that religion, morality, social structures and other things are all rooted in economics. In his later life he was more tolerant of religion.

What do communist countries such as North Korea and the former USSR concentrate on manufacturing most?
lisabon 2012 [21]

The communist countries tend to mostly produce food.

Explanation:

The communist countries, such as North Korea and the former USSR, have economy that is focused on self-sustaining. This puts these countries in a situation where they are closed to the majority of the world, so they exist on what they are able to produce, or maybe few of their allies. The central government is in charge of the planning for the economy, and the basis is always around the food production, as it is the most important thing in order for the country to survive.

So as stated, the main objective was always to produce food, and everything else comes after that. Because of this, the communist countries tend to have huge percentage of the population engaged in agriculture. Unfortunately, the planning for the agricultural production of food was often bad, and way to often there was lack of food in these countries, leading even to death from starvation of thousands and even millions of people.

Countries that have been practicing this apart from North Korea and USSR were:

  • Maoist China
  • Cuba
  • Albania
  • Vietnam

Which of the following was not an intention of the Proclamation of 1763?
Elina [12.6K]
It would be "<span>(C) Limiting the growth of manufacturing within the North American </span>colonies" that was not an intention of the Proclamation of 1763, since the British did not want the colonial economy to suffer at all.

Which claim about the cause of the Industrial Revolution is best supported by this chart?
VMariaS [17]

Answer: A. Increases in agricultural productivity provided the foundation for the Industrial Revolution

Explanation:

There is no chart included but option A is most probably the answer because it represents accurate historical events.

From the 17th century onwards, the British began to practice better Agricultural practices that had the effect of yielding so much more food. These innovations included crop rotation, selective breeding and increased use of better farming tools.

This increase in agricultural productivity led to huge population increase which meant that not everybody could farm anymore. More people had to relocate to urban areas and join the workforce where along with the need for better machinery to speed up production, the Industrial Revolution happened.
