Imperial Japan strategically planned and launched a swift attack on the state of Hawaii, located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. At 07:02, an army radar station detected the oncoming plane and reported to his directing officer that a squadron of B17s was coming from the west coast and canceled abandon the sight of the warlike forces.
