ALI, CHILD OF THE DESERT , is a book by Jonathan London. The story tells of  Ali, a young chap who seem to be old enough to assist and accompany his father in order to sell their camels. They took their journey through the Great Sahara of Morocco. On their way, they experienced a sandstorm which the father and his son. He was left alone in the desert. He met the Berbers. They share their food with him.

Afterward,  he was contemplating of going with the Berbers or to stay alone and wait for his father. Eventually, Ali reunited with his father.
