So, who had read the book, The Red Badge of Courage? I am having to do a 200 pt assignment on it and would like some pointers. F

irst off, here it the prompt. Trace the development of Henry’s character from the beginning of the novel to the end, with a special emphasis on the various emotions he feels throughout his story. In your response, explain what happens to Henry’s character, including the choices he makes, the consequences of the choices, and how Henry’s character changes. Then explain how the changes in Henry’s character relate to the theme of this novel and the literary movements of realism, naturalism, or determinism.
So, what are some good points that I could make or quotes that I could use? I had three ways of doing this and I chose an 8 slide power point. Any and all information will be accepted and I would be ever grateful, having to play catch up because of an incident with a horse this week and my internet going out for 24 hours, im online schooled xD Thanks to all who assist me in my endeavor.

Henry's journey in The Red Badge of Courage is obviously a very complex one, and that it's difficult to fit into an 8 slide presentation, but you can certainly try! I think the thing it is most important to discuss is the fluctuation in his character development, from being terrified to confident, to being scared again, to finally overcoming his fears only to receive a terrible knockback. Make sure not to write as if his journey within the story was one smooth path.

In Mark Twain's account of a "campaign that failed," his satire is aimed at the _______ of making an adventure appear more glori
Anna35 [415]
The correct answer is C, hypocrisy. This work of Mark Twain's is actually a fictionalized version of his own wartime experiences. He is trying to tell us that there is nothing glorious about war, that there is only death and suffering. It cannot be glorious when you have to kill somebody, or somebody will kill you. That's the irony and hypocrisy that Twain was trying to convey in this work.
