Basically, there are two types of Aztec calendars. One called the "xiuhpohualli," (day count) that is the 365 days calendar that includes the rituals to the Sun. It is known as the solar yeat or agricultural year. The other calendar is the one called "tonalpohualli," considered to be the sacred calendar for the Aztecs.
