Prepare a research report on Spanish culture that includes the history and impact of this language and culture on the world, par
ticularly the United States. This report should include, but not be limited to, the origin and evolution of the culture, holidays, celebrations, religions, custom, notable authors, political figures, historians, artists, and/or other people and issues that you discover in your research. Note that this Academic Research Report report is a different assignment than the Culture Presentation in the work-text manual assignment. The Academic Research Report must be written in an academic APA format. You may use your Culture Presentation as a baseline your academic research report. That is, you may use the same topic and expand from an information presentation to a research report, but these are two different assignments.
The paper must be 7 pages in length, typed, double-spaced, 12 font, with cover page, and reference page included in the 7 pages. Use APA format which you can find at www.apa.org or you can find a manual on research papers at your local bookstore. You must have at least ten references, only five of which may be internet resources. The others may be books or articles from professional or political journals. (You may find some of these articles on the internet as stored, or archived informational materials, but this is not the same as using a web page as a resource.)
