Answer:

Biosphere -- the global ecosystem composed of biotic (living) factors and the abiotic (non-living) factors from which they derive energy and nutrients. AKA the ecosphere, is the worldwide sum of all ecosystems (all life on earth)

Hydrosphere -- the combined mass/volume of water located either on, under, and above the surface of a planet, minor planet, or natural satellite. This water is still counted regardless of its state (ie. liquid...gas...solid) and takes form as what we see as Rivers, Lakes etc

Explain why a waterfall is a temporary feature on a rivers course
barxatty [35]

Explanation:

waterfalls are temporary features of rivers because stream erosion is greatest at waterfalls and rapids. The water that falls at the base of the waterfall erodes rock there, leaving the rock at the tops of the waterfalls to overhang. Overall, undermining causes waterfalls to recede farther upstream.

masya89 [10]

Answer:

A. It helped sailors steer around rocky coasts.

B. It aided navigators in predicting the weather.

An astrolabe cannot predict the weather.

C. It allowed sailors to know their north-south location.

A compass is used for this purpose.

D. It kept crews from getting sick.
