The correct answer to this open question is the following.

You forgot to include the text or the third paragraph. Without that information, we do not know what you are referring to.

However, doing some deep research, we can comment on the following.

One instance in which the Spanish resorted to the type of actions threatened in the third paragraph was to punish the Native peoples who refused to obey the conquerors and refused to convert to Catholicism.

The Spanish have threatened the Indians expressing threats such as <em>"...But, if you do not obey, we shall powerfully enter into your country, and shall make war against you and shall subject you to the yoke and obedience of the Church and the king and queen of Spain."</em>

Spanish conquerors committed many atrocities when they tried to colonize many territories in the Americas. all in the name of God and the Catholic church.

This was part of a medieval document titled "The Demand." This document was issued by the council of Castile in 1510. When conquerors arrived in the Americas, they had to read the document to warn Native Indian peol¿ple, before taking their territories.

What movements in the 70's were inspired by the civil rights movement?
Liono4ka [1.6K]

Answer:

Inspired by the principles of racial pride, autonomy and self-determination expressed by Malcolm X (whose assassination in 1965 had brought even more attention to his ideas), as well as liberation movements in Africa, Asia and Latin America, the Black Power movement that flourished in the late 1960s and ‘70s argued that black Americans should focus on creating economic, social and political power of their own, rather than seek integration into white-dominated society.

<h3>What is Merchants?</h3>

A trader in goods made by other people is known as a merchant, particularly one who conducts business internationally. Anyone who engages in commerce or trade is referred to historically as a merchant. As long as trade, industry, and commerce have existed, there have been merchants. In 16th-century Europe, two distinct terms for merchants emerged: meerseniers referred to local traders (such as bakers and grocers), and koopman referred to merchants who operated on a global scale, importing and exporting goods over great distances while providing added-value services like credit and finance.

In different historical eras and among various societies, the standing of the merchant has changed. When referring to a businessperson or an activity in the modern era, the term "merchant" has been used sporadically.
