Jezebel continued worship the nature "god" Baal (which God said NOT to worship!). She despised God and His prophet, Elijah, so much that she sought to kill Elijah. The citizens and Elijah all despised the fact that the queen of Israel worshiped the "god" Baal. She died by being thrown over her balcony and eaten by dogs.
