Answer:

1. Richard Henry Lee- made the motion for independence.

2. Roger Sherman- member of the committee to write the Declaration of Independence.

3. Self-evident- needs no proof or explanation.

4. Endowed- belongs to you.

5. Unalienable- to have been freely given.

6. Pursuit- the act of chasing or following.

Explanation:

1. Richard Henry Lee was a Founding father from Virginia and also an avid statesman who proposed and made a motion to the Congress for the independence of the colonies. This motion that he made came to be known as the Lee Resolution of June 1776.

2. Roger Sherman was one of the committee members that drafted and wrote the Declaration of Independence. The other members include Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, and Robert R. Livingston.

3. The word "self-evident" means something that needs no proof or validation. In simple words, we can say it means "obvious" and needs no further explanation or proof to make it more true.

4. To be endowed means to be given provided or anything that shows it's yours. The sense of a thing belonging to you also means "endowed".

5. The word "unalienable" means something that is to be freely given or freely accessible. It means not transferable or even taken away from you.

6. Pursuit means to be after something or someone. Going after the thing, or trying to get it.
