Which ball is moving with the fastest speed?

English
1 answer:
astra-53 [7]3 years ago
3 0

Answer:

Ball 1 is moving at the fastest speed.. This is because Ball 1, at 100cm distance takes a time of just 10 seconds to cover the distance of 100cm. This is the fastest speed because:

Speed= Distance/Time

Ball 1= 100cm/10= 10 (speed)

Ball 2= 50cm/20= 2 1/2 (speed)

Ball 3= 100cm/20= 5 (speed)

Ball 4= 50/10= 5 (speed)

Therefore Ball 1 has the greatest speed overall.

How are novels and short stories different?
kvasek [131]

Answer:

The main difference is in length. Short stories generally range anywhere from 1,500 to 30,000 words whereas novels start from about 50,000 words.

A short story has one main character and the story is told from that character's point of view, mainly first person. A novel has a cast of characters and the story can be told from any of those characters' viewpoints.

"Marshmallows are my favorite snack," she explained... Fragment or punctuated correctly ?
vaieri [72.5K]
This is punctuated correctly.
"Marshmallows are my favorite snack" is a complete sentence unto itself.
The comma instead of a period shows that the sentence spoken is part of the whole sentence, which includes the speaker (she) and a word to describe how the speaker said it (explained).
