Quick Note: The only reason that this answer is also in the comments is because no answering spots were open.

Answer:

1. Creation of the United Nations. After the fall of the failed League of Nations, the Allied countries formed the United Nations Organization in October 1945, at the of the war. The UN would be stronger and would have more scope than its predecessor.

2. End of colonialism and imperialism. With the fall of the Japanese empire, fascist Italy and Nazi Germany, these nations became democracies.

3. Economic crisis. As a result of an exorbitant spending on military power and resources, the warring countries were hit by a severe economic crisis. Germany, France and England filed for bankruptcy.

4. Geopolitical changes in Europe. All Axis countries lost extensions of their territory to pay compensation to the Allies. This caused a re-ordering of the world map. The USSR, for example, took countries from Eastern Europe and communism In these territories.

5. Emergence of the powers of the block: USA vs USSR. At the end of the war, the US and the USSR benefited because they did not suffer financial damage or damage to infrastructure, and managed to increase their industrial power and thus become world powers. This would initiate a new stage called the Cold War , Where these two nations competed for decades in the political, economic, social, scientific and even sports. This rivalry would last almost 50 years.

Have a great day! ^^

Which statements describe a NEGATIVE outcome of the invention of the cotton gin? Choose TWO.
Cloud [144]

Except for the statement A, all other statements can be argued to be negative outcomes of the invention of the cotton gin. But in the need to choose only two, the most negative are C and D.

Despite the cotton gin making processing faster, it produced more demand for labor instead of less. The cotton production's radical growth was based primarily on slave labor. Thus:

Statements B and E are negative since the prominence of the United States in the world cotton production, due to a tremendous increase in production, was reached based on a more violent exploration of slave labor.

Statements C and D refer more directly to negative outcomes of the cotton gin. They explain how numbers in statements B and E were achieved. Slave labor was a repudiation of black people's status as humans. It was obtained through continuous violence and torture, and it increased due to the invention of the cotton gin.

Question: Why is voting an important form of participating in
romanna [79]
The short answer is that America is a democratic country which means that the people have a right to vote and choose who will lead their country. It’s important that everyone votes so that the presidency- for example- will not be one just by electoral votes but also the people. Then voting for your small town or state is important because that will more closely show how you are ruled.

Hope this helps please give brainliest❤️
