Hinduism is based on peace and prosperity, and it's a religion that is based on truth and reality which is completely odd in my opinion.

With the golden age occurring during some of the time during the presence of the empire, Hinduism flowered and spread throughout the empire (and throughout the rest of India); the religion brought people together and even separated them so the actual beliefs could shape India the way it is now.
