Answer:

C

Explanation:

You have to look in every sentence to see what the paragraph is about. So just think to yourself, "What is the main topic of the passage?" Say the passage was talking about the Titanic (like the movie if you have ever saw it ) and it was just talking about how the Titanic sank. So it would mostly be about the main thing that they are describing or something like that. But keep this in mind as well, sometimes it can be in the title too! Hope this elps you understand!!!!!❤✨

Dad: “It’s just like this great song I heard a couple of miles back, “Big Daddy was a Truck-Drivin’ Man!”
qwelly [4]

Answer: Metaphor

Explanation:

A metaphor is a comparison literary device that refers to something as another thing to highlight that they are similar in a certain manner. This is much like a simile but does not use the words, "as" or "like".

In this sentence, Big Daddy is referred to as a "Truck-Drivin' Man" to highlight that he shares some similarities to a truck driving man thereby making it a metaphor.

What's a Double Negative in this sentence

Sidney couldn't do nothing with her hair.
Andreyy89

Answer:

Explanation:

"I didn't do nothing" as a double negative gives the meaning of a weakened affirmative in standard English. It is equivalent to “I did something”. "I didn't do nothing" may retain its negative meaning when it is sometimes used in non-standard or informal English
