If an author states, "I am not happy with the things going on right now," this does not come across as a noticeable argument, nor does it catch the reader's eye.
If the author states, "I am not pleased, following the current situation and circumstances we are experiencing at this current moment," then the author's point is clear, concise, and much more pleasing to the eye.
