Basketball Rule #3

English
1 answer:

5 0

To me, this rule means to never let anyone get you down. Always believe the best in yourself no matter what others think.  This rule means that others options of myself dont matter, because the only way I can succeed is if I believe in myself. So this rule is important because it helps me remember self-confidence and not to give in to the doubt that others have placed on my shoulders.

Speech to the Citizens of DePaul
cupoosta [38]
C. He persuaded the town's council members to reject the company's plan.

Explain: He knew that if the company drilled into the earth and made factories to get oil that it would damage the wildlife. He also knew that it would upset the farmers (which  were 60% of the people in the town). So he talked to the council and they realized what an important decision this would be.

Hope this helps!
