A warrior ______ a gruesome monster ______.
Ray Of Light [21]

Answer:

A warrior frightens a gruesome monster away.

Explanation:

When you complete a sentence you have to make sure that the combination o verb and predicate are compatible, and that they express in the best possible way what you are trying to say. So let's analyze the answers:

1) frightens; away: this is grammatically correct, and both words combine well and add meaning to the message.

2) splits; in half: this is grammatically incorrect, it would have to be "into halves" or "in two"

3) kills; forever: kills already implies is forever, it is repetitive

4)beats; in pieces: beats doesn't imply that the monster was split into pieces, so these two words don't combine.

what is the right way to teach slavery to yung student (elementary)? How about older students (high school)
hjlf

I really personally dont think it should be taught in school at all, honestly I do not like history at all, due to what both men and women dealt with, from the unequal rights to the other horrible things that occurred. It seems like disrespectful to teach this due to it being some of their ancestors that were slaves at a time or any part of history in that matter. I think if a student wanted to learn about it then they should read about it in the libraires, or ask a teacher for tutoring on the subject, and not actually teach any students about this.

How can understanding rhetorical devices help you as a student?
Sedaia [141]

Rethorical devices are all those which helps an individual to argue successfully, defending his point of view but also convincing people to agree with his saying. That is why rethorical devices can help a student: he can explain himself better, defend his ideas and even convince others to do what he believes to be the best.
