Answer:
i used supported my 3 words by using text evidence from the reading
Explanation:
in this passage, i experienced both positivity and the opposite. Some words i can use to describe this passage are influential, certain, and beneficial. i can use influential to describe this passage because it states,"For the eyes of the world now look into space, to the moon and to the planets beyond." this tells me that the people are willing to go and explore the space and beyond for freedom and not in hostage. i can use certain because it states,"Those who came before us made certain that this country rode the first waves of the industrial revolution, the first waves of modern invention, and the first wave of nuclear power, and this generation does not intend to founder in the backwash of the coming age of space." this shows me that they were certain and proved it too. last but not least i can use determined because in the text it states,"We have vowed that we shall not see space filled with weapons of mass destruction, but with instruments of knowledge and understanding." this shows me that they are willing to prevent these and are determined to chance the world for good.
Elements of fiction and elements of story in general can be used by the reader to increase their enjoyment and understanding of different literary pieces. Once students are aware that all stories have elements of character, setting, plot, theme, point of view, style, and tone; they can be encouraged to ask themselves to identify the characteristics of each for a particular story. The more familiar they become with the different kinds of elements the better they will understand and critically analyze stories. The central idea is the central, unifying element of the story, which ties together all of the other elements of fiction used by the author to tell the story. The central idea can be best described as the dominant impression or the universal, generic truth found in the story. Therefore, the central idea statement should avoid using the names of characters.
