El bicentenario es una fecha muy importante en la vida de los países porque se están festejando los 200 años de la independencia de ese país.

De ahí que los gobiernos deciden organizar festejos magnos porque es un acontecimiento muy importante. Miles de personas perdieron la vida por conseguir la independencia del país, por esa razón se les honra.

Durante el año en el que se festeja el bicentenario se organizan una serie de festejos en el ámbito político, deportivo, social, y cultural.
