Sliva [168]

The correct answer is choice C.

The 2000 Presidential election was a very unique election. The election was between George Bush and Al Gore. All of Florida’s ballots were recounted, which delayed declaring the new president of the US. George Bush eventually became president, but it was only the 4th time in US history that the candidate that received the most popular votes did not win the electoral votes, and therefore lost the election.

What is the main idea for the mystery of maya
loris [4]

Answer:

The main idea for the mystery of Maya is the mysterious collapse of the Maya Empire and Civilization.

Explanation:

Beginning from the 8th - 9th Century, an unexplained event occurred that shook the civilization of Maya to its very feet. This led to the abandonment of their traditional cities in the Southern lowlands.

In A.D 900, the civilization of Maya had fallen. None seem to know the reason for the mysterious drop and collapse.

There were thoughts and opinions about the cause of the strange collapse of the Maya Empire. Some believe the Maya drained the environmental space that they could no longer maintain a very large population. While some claimed that the empire was faced with continuous warfare among struggling city-states.

With no strong evidence, there may be circumstances that such a decline was a consequence of their belief system. This can be extracted from some evidence from their paintings, crockery, and a few pieces in the form of translated symbols.

The fall of the Maya civilization has been seen as one of the biggest mysteries of the ancient world.
