Their strategy:. Avoid defeat until the Americans gave up

While the United States held a tremendous advantage in funding and firepower, the North Vietnamese and the Viet Cong held the advantage of fighting for goals they believed in and knowing how to hold their ground in Vietnamese territory.  They did not have to gain a conclusive victory over the USA in its support of South Vietnam, only hold out until the American side determined the war was no longer worth what it cost in dollars and lives.

Len [333]

Answer:

Origins of Buddhism - The Art of Asia - Buddhism. Buddhism, a religion that more than 300 million people currently practice, was founded in northeastern India by Prince Siddhartha in the sixth century B.C. Having achieved enlightenment, he became known as Shakyamuni and preached a path of salvation to his followers

Explanation:

The art and the teachings spread westward to Afghanistan and through Central Asia eastward to the Pacific -- to China, Korea, Japan, and what we now call Viet Nam. In Tang dynasty China (A.D. 618 to 907) Buddhism produced a brilliant culture that greatly influenced all nearby countries in East Asia.

The key issues the United States based fighting Japan across the Pacific ocean
olga2289 [7]

Japanese reluctance to surrender would prove a major challenge for the United States in the Pacific Theater. It meant every rock in the water the US gained would be gained with tremendous amounts of American and Japanese bloodshed alike. Ultimately not wanting to go through the trouble of invading the entirety of the Japanese Home Islands would be the reasoning behind dropping the Atomic Bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, rather than fight for years and years and leave millions more dead. Other than that in the opening phases of the war following the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor the US Pacific Fleet was heavily damaged, and while ultimately the US Pacific fleet would get back on its feet, it gave Japan an early advantage allowing them to invade the Philippines and the Dutch East Indies.

The government gave land to settlers, but what problem did the settlers have in eastern New Mexico? a. The ground was too fertil
Svetach [21]

Answer:

d. Farming was difficult in that area.

Explanation:

The settlers did not find it easy to establish agricultural crops in this region. agriculture was one of the most important elements for the success of a colony and for some time it was considered that colonies in the east of new mexico would not be possible due to the difficulty in establishing agriculture.

After a while, it was possible to implement crops, but in a difficult, expensive and not as productive way as in other regions, being preferable to establish the herding of animals.
