If we have apps for maps, goggle earth, gis, why do we need to study geography?
Liula [17]
Studying geography helps us to have an awareness of a place. All places and spaces have a history behind them, shaped by humans, earth, and climate. Studying geography gives a meaning and awareness to places and spaces. It also helps students with spatial awareness on the globe. That’s why you should study geography.

lana66690 [7]

Answer:

C. Cheyenne

Explanation:

The Cheyenne tribe established their nation in the land that now belongs to the state of Montana. Due to the information contained in the question, we know that horses played a valuable role in the life of Deleep's tribe. This was true because of the vast distances the Cheyenne had to cover. We also know that buffalo inhabited the same area as Deleep's tribe. The geographic location of the Cheyenne nation corresponds well with the range of the bison.

What are some actions that you, as an individual, can take to help protect resources? Write a paragraph discussing at least five
bogdanovich [222]

Natural resources include fossil fuels, metal, minerals,plants, soil, sunshine, water and wildlife. Every day, we depend on and use natural  resources. They contribute to the economy, by creating energy, providing shelter, producing food and medicine and for spiritual well being.

By protecting and conserving natural resources, we ensure that they used efficiently today and are available in the future as well. Conversing resources also ensures the health and wellness of the entire system.   The 3 principles to protect resources are:

Reduce- By making environmental friendly choices in products and reducing the amount of we consume. For example, by borrowing from friends and sharing with neighbours instead of buying things that we do not use often. By using energy efficient light bulbs and electronics, we reduce the amount of energy consumed. By using public transport and not drive cars, we reduce the carbon emissions on the road and save fuel. By bringing a bag to store groceries at the supermarket, we reduce the use of plastic bags and air pollution.

Reuse- Items such as plastic bags , other plastic food containers and coffee tins can be repurposed into storage containers for lunch boxe and storage containers for sewing supplies, tools, machine parts and gardening seeds. Torn clothes can also be used as rags or sewed to become blankets.Broken machines parts can be salvage to be used for repairing other items.

Recycle: Place rubbish in the right recycling bins so that items like paper bags, soda cans and plastic bottles can be recycled in facilities. Opt to purchase toilet paper, tissue paper and writing paper made from recycled papers too.

Conserving and protecting natural resources is important so that the climate will protected and resources will be available for the future generation.

satela [25.4K]

Answer:

An asteroid is in circular orbit around the Sun. Its distance from the Sun is 7.3 times the average distance of Earth from the Sun. The period of this asteroid is  C : 20 Earth years .

Explanation:

Kepler's law

T² ∝ R³

T = orbital period of the planet

R = semi major axis of the orbit.

Now

( T₁ / T₂ )² =  ( R₁ / R₂ )³

T₁ =  Earth time period = 1 year

T₂ = Asteroid time period

R₁ =  The distance between Earth and Sun

R₂ = The distance between Asteroid and Sun

From the question ,

R₂ = 7.3 R₁

applying on the above equation ,

( T₁ / T₂ )² =  ( R₁ / R₂ )³

( 1 / T₂ )² = ( R₁ / 7.3 R₁ )³

( 1 / T₂ )² = ( 1 / 7.3 )³

T₂ = 19.7 year

Hence ,

approximately T₂ = 20 years.

The period of this asteroid is  C : 20 Earth years .
