Choose the sentence that uses parallel structure correctly. A. He not only completed

English
1 answer:
Anna11 [10]3 years ago
4 0

Answer: A. She will either go to the party or stay home and rest.

Explanation:

Using parallel structure means phrasing words in a sentence to show that the options/ ideas mentioned are equally important. Usually, this structure is seen when the options are joined by coordinating conjunctions such as "and" or "or'' and ''either ... or.''

In the sentence above, the options of going to the party and staying home to rest are both equally important and are connected by ''either ... or'' so this sentence uses a parallel structure.

What is the goal of a redemptive social movement?
dolphi86 [110]
B. To bring about radical change for its participants

Redemptive social movements are usually religious in nature and only have a limited focus. It aims to radically change an individual’s behavior thus changing the entire person. Examples of redemptive movements are fundamentalist religious movements and cults. In some religions, there is an emphasis on being “born again”. This state implies that a complete individual transformation or a radical inner change is expected from the person. Perhaps the best example would be the spread of Christianity all over the world through the work of missionaries.
