It can cause earthquakes and volcanoes depending on the type of plate movement
If you look at the map of Central America, you can see that the volcanoes are all on the left side- towards the Pacific, and Honduras is mostly lying on the Atlantic side.
So the answer is, Honduras doesn't have any active volcanoes. It has some, but they are all extinct now (Isla del Tigre for example)
