Answer:

<em>Some people mistreat others that are not their skin color because that is not what they are used to. They also go off of stereotypes, because they refuse to get to know anyone by an opposite skin color. So, how would they know or face the fact that not all of that race is bad, if they refuse to see it? Some Caucasians believe in White-supremacy, and think that they are the first race to ever set foot in America. But, if were talking logically, African-American Tribes and groups where the first to ever set foot on American soil. They were pushed out of their own homes, without choice. Some Caucasians tend to make general assumptions about an entire race. That does not make sense, not only because assumptions are wrong, but because a certain percentage of a race is not every individual that is that race. You have to have valid reason, which many Caucasians lack having. Maybe they were raised to hate mexicans, per say. And, they chose to continue that. They have no valid reasoning themselves as to why they are disrespecting that entire race, making general assumptions. </em>

<em>Some people are still racist because they have been raised that way, or have been wronged by an individual of that race, and now hold a grudge against an entire group of perfectly normal, civilized, humans, just like themselves.</em>

Explanation: Hope this helps..

Tasya [4]

Answer:

<em>he breathed upon the great rocks and lumps of earth </em>

<em>the Moon rose big and full over the water</em>

Explanation:

Imagery is a method, or should we say a literary device, that uses figurative language filled with descriptions in order to help us create mental images of the text. It helps us, not just to read the text, but to experience it with all our senses. Imagery vividly describes how something looks like, sounds like, feels like, tastes like or smells like (uses our senses to describe something).

So, knowing this, best fitting answers would be:

- he breathed upon the great rocks and lumps of earth

- the Moon rose big and full over the water

How does the author reveal Okeke's perspective of his son's
Fantom [35]

Answer:

A. He uses the father's letter and dialogue  to convey his disapproval of  Nnaemeka's marriage.

Explanation:

Chinua Achebe's short story "Marriage is a Private Affair" revolves around the story of Nnaemeka and his "unaccepted" marriage to a woman outside of his tribe. The story delves into how tradition posed an obstacle to a marriage between two tribes, and how women are perceived to be in society.

When Nnaemeka informed his father about his marriage to Nene, his father was opposed to the idea of him marrying a woman outside of their Igbo tribe. Moreover, she was brought up in a cosmopolitan city and not 'fit' to be a traditional housewife. So, when he got the wedding picture, he cut off Nene from the photo and sent it back, replying with the words <em>"on further thought I decided just to cut off your wife and send it back to you because I have nothing to do with her. How I wish that I had nothing to do with you either."</em>

The author used the letter and the dialogues of Okeke to reveal his perspective of his son's marriage.

Thus, the correct answer is option A.
