Why is defying gender
roles so threatening to
some people in
society?
TiliK225 [7]

Answer: To some people they discriminate this off of religion. Like christians, they follow the rule of Adam and Eve; the first man and woman on earth. They ONLY focused on Adam and Eve. I would think there were more people on earth back then; not just Adam and Eve, with more than one gender but I guess according to christians, this didn't exist. So christians today only follow stuff from a book that was written thousands years ago. once a person doesn't follow that path of god, they are now a person of the devil. Now taking religion out of it, this is taught through a family or friends perspective and sometimes society on why this is wrong
