When an artist paints with a mixture of watercolor pigment and Chinese white chalk, the process is called GOUACHE.
Further expounding this, it is commonly diluted with water before being applied to paper. However, Gouache is designed to be used with opaque methods of painting.
Realism- the artist simply paints what they see from a subject
