area of this cirlce=π*(12 ft)²=144π ft²≈452.39 ft².

answer 1= the area of this circle is 452.39 ft².

Perimeter of a circle=2πr.
Perimeter of this cirlce=2π(12 ft)=24π ft≈75.4 ft

Find the measure of each angle using the triangle sum theorem and exterior angle theorem
Paladinen [302]

(please open my photo for reference as you read, I am a visual learner/explainer so it will make the most sense that way)

So the first thing you want to do is look at the exterior angle 130°. A straight line is 180°, and every Triangle's angular sum is 180°. How I think of it is that every straight line has a mini protractor on either side. It makes it a bit easier to understand.

180 - 130 = 50

You now know that two of the angles are 50°.

You now have two of the measurements for the triangle farthest to the left.

75° and 50°

75 + 50 = 125

180 - 125 = 55

a = 55°

Now that you have all the measurements for the first triangle, let's move onto the next one.

With two measurements for the second triangle, all you need to do is find their sum and subtract that from 180 and you will have the third measurement!

50 + 60 = 110

180 - 110 = 70

b = 70°

Finally, for the last triangle, you already have two of the measurements 60° and 85°.

85 + 60 = 145

180 - 145 = 35

c = 35°

Sorry if this explanation is a bit messy, it's hard to describe certain things without a letter or some kind of name to differentiate between them verbally.

I hope this helps! <3

Sammy buys 5 pounds of oranges for 7.50 at this rate how much would 8 pounds of oranges cost
Nadusha1986 [10]

The cost of 8 pounds of oranges based on the total cost of 5 pounds bought is 12.00

What is the cost for a pound of oranges?

The cost of a pound of oranges based on the rate at which 5 pounds were bought and 8 pounds would also be bought is determined as the amount paid for 5 pounds of oranges divided by the number of pounds of oranges bought

cost per pound of oranges=cost of 5 pounds/5 pounds

cost per pound of oranges=7.50/5

cost per pound of oranges=1.50

Based on the 1.50 per pound, the cost of 8 pounds is the cost per pound multiplied by 8 pounds

cost of 8 pounds of oranges=1.50*8pounds

cost of 8 pounds of oranges=12.00

One month Yoko rented 3 movies and 5 video games for a total of $40. The next month she rented 9 movies and 7 video games for a
KATRIN_1 [288]

Answer:

  • movie: $3.75
  • video game: $5.75

Step-by-step explanation:

Two equations in two unknowns can be written:

  3m +5v = 40

  9m +7v = 74

These can be solved a variety of ways. One of them is using Cramer's rule. It tells you the solution to

  • ax +by = c
  • dx +ey = f

is given by ...

  • ∆ = bd -ea
  • x = (bf -ec)/∆
  • y = (cd -fa)/∆

For the numbers above,

  • ∆ = 5·9 -7·3 = 24
  • m = (5·74 -7·40)/24 = 90/24 = 3.75
  • v = (40·9 -74·3)/24 = 138/24 = 5.75

The rental cost for each movie is $3.75; for each video game, it is $5.75.
