Answer:

ABBA

Explanation:

In a poem generally the last word of each line indicates the rhyming scheme. It is denoted be letters ABC etc. The first word of the first line is taken as A in a stanza and the last word of each line is compared with it. If the last word of the second line rhymes with the word in the first line then we write the rhyme scheme as AABB. Where B is the another word rhyming with the last word of the fourth line and so on.

Here sky (A) rhymes with lie (A) and air (B) rhymes with fair (B).

So, the rhyming scheme of this stanza is ABBA.

Which option is the best example of someone using a rhetorical device? A. A politician who persuades voters with a billboard B.
Temka [501]

Rethorical devices are used order words in a certain way to convey meaning or to persuade. However, they can also be used as a technique to evoke particular emotions. Some of them are considered figurative language because they have a non-literal meaning.

Therefore, your answer would be A, a politician who persuades voters with a billboard because he is making use of those words to convince the audience. Yet, C, a poet who finds a perfect way to convey sadness could also be considered correct since poetry is full of figures of speech. One of the main features of poetry is to use figurative language.

I believe it was mostly because he could be turned into stone at any time. Wounds can be healed, and army's can be partially slain, but being turned into stone means you are basically defenseless against her until turned back, if you're turned back to normal at all.

which two sentences contribute to the overall eerie mood of the adapted expect her from the fall of the House of Usher by Edgar
vodomira [7]

Answer:

In this mansion of gloom I now proposed to myself a stay of some weeks.

The writer spoke of a kind of illness--of a disorder which oppressed him--and of an earnest desire to see me.

Explanation:

These two sentences contribute to the overall eerie mood that we find in this text of "The Fall of the House of Usher." In the first sentence, the author talks about a "mansion of gloom." This conveys the idea of a house that is old, abandoned, or that promises something terrible. The second sentence tells us that the author of the letter is "oppressed" by a disorder and desperate to see the speaker. This also appears to be a premonition of something terrible to come. Both of these give an eerie mood to the text.
