15 points!!! What makes the Hairy Man the antagonist in "Wiley, His Mother, and the Hairy Man"
rjkz [21]

Answer:

B. He is Wiley's main enemy

Explanation:

The definition of antagonist doesn't necessarily mean "a bad person," it is simply the character who is against the main character (AKA protagonist). For example, say a book was written about Genghis Khan; yes, he is objectively a bad person, but he is the protagonist of this story if it is being told from his perspective. Whoever is clashing against him would therefore be the antagonist of the story, no matter how good of a person they are in reality.

In this book, the story is told from Wiley's perspective and the character against him is the Hairy Man.

Does that make sense? If so, I hope it helped clear things up a bit! Feel free to message me if you need any more help!
