Answer: Y= -2 1/2x+2

Step-by-step explanation:

Alright, first of put your finger on the Y axis. (The line that has a Y above it)

We are starting on the number two...which is "B"...this will be our addition to our solved "rise & run" equation!

Now, we are going to "rise" down to the other dot mention.

There are a total of 5 hops that we had to do in order to get to the other dot.

These hops down are called the "rise". However, we did not rise, we went down. This means that the hops we did are negative...because we went down. If the other dot mentioned went up, it would've be positive.

Okay, so now we have one part of our equation down:

rise= -5

Now we need to "run" to the dot. We will run two spaces to the dot mentioned.

So, our run is a positive 2

run= 2

So now we have our equation...which is slope:

-5/2

Simplify...

-2 1/2

Now that we have simplified, we will set our linear equation up, starting with Y.

Y= -2 1/2x+2

Why did we add the number 2 to our equation, you may ask? Remember when we had to start on the first dot which was the number 2? And we had to call it "B"? Well "B" has to always be added to a linear equation...which is what we just solved for.

What does "+2" mean? "+2" means y-intercept.

What does our number -2 1/2 mean? -2 1/2 means the rate of change.

What does the x attached to -2 1/2 mean? X means any random number that can equal "Y" with all the rest of our numbers.

Hoped this helped! Remember, the answer is Y= -2 1/2x+2

48m + 12

Part B:
6m + 12 + 42m . used distributive property

Part C: Show that your other expression from Part A is equivalent to the given expression by substituting a number for m. (3 points)
6*0 + 12 + 42*0 = 12

How do you solve t=1/8sv and solve for v?
Kruka [31]

Answer:

v = (8t)/s

Step-by-step explanation:

Divide both sides by 1/8, so multiply both sides by 8.

8t = sv

Divide both sides by s.

(8t)/s = v

Switch sides.

v = (8t)/s
