<em>      Animal farm</em> is an allegorical tale about the 1917 Russian revolution and the Soviet Union. The pigs- who represent the leaders of communist Russia- constantly use propaganda to sway the perspectives of the other inhabitants of the titular 'Animal Farm'. By definition, propaganda is information that is misleading, pushing particular- usually political- beliefs.  The satire that is <em>Animal Farm</em> depicts the infamous communist leader, Stalin, as an anthropomorphized pig- Napoleon- and shows how he contently utilized propaganda and fear tactics to control his people.
