A solar eclipse occurs when the moon gets between Earth and the sun, and the moon casts a shadow over Earth. A solar eclipse can only take place at the phase of new moon, when the moon passes directly between the sun and Earth and its shadows fall upon Earth’s surface. But whether the alignment produces a total solar eclipse, a partial solar eclipse or an annular solar eclipse depends on several factors, all explained below.

If the circulatory system failed what would happen to the heart rate?
Gelneren [198K]
The heart rate would decrease because there is less oxygen being supplied to the cells for cellular respiration, and also your muscles won't get the blood it needs. Blood also contains oxygen and glucose which cells need to convert food to energy and to survive, so if the cells don't get blood they will die which will eventually kill the organism

valina [46]

Protein elastin is used to made elastic fiber, component of connective tissue that found abundant in blood vessels, bones, tendon and skin. The effect should be prominent in those organs.

Aorta is the biggest artery blood vessels and it need more elasticity to withstand the pressure of the ventricle. Less elasticity makes aorta become enlarged. The bone will lose density and become thinner. The tendon in heart valve will be weaken and might cause the heart valve disease. The skin will lose elasticity, so it will be easier to stretch.

Why is the hydrolysis of water required for photosynthesis?
Papessa [141]

Hydrolysis is a chemical process in which a water molecule is inserted.

In light-based reaction, which occurs in the thylakoid layer, chlorophyll absorbs energy from the sun and converts it into chemical energy through water. Light-dependent reactions release oxygen to water hydrolysis as a by-product.

Hope it helps!
