Answer:

1. I was talking in the library about the books I had read.

2. In France, I met a guy who works as a news reporter.

3. They were arguing about the end of the first semester at the exam terms.

Explanation:

1.

I was talking about the books i had read in the library.

This means s/he were somewhere else, and was talking about books s/he had read in the library, on rearranging it, we would have some like this.

I was talking in the library about the books I had read.

This means that s/he was in the library at the time of discussion, and we're talking about books s/he read elsewhere..

2.

I met a guy who works as a news reporter in france

This could mean that s/he met the guy somewhere else that's not France, but the said guy works as a news reporter in France. On rearranging, we have something like this

In France, I met a guy who works as a news reporter.

This is specifically giving credence to the fact that s/he met the said guy in France.

3.

they were arguing about exam terms at the end of the first semester.

This could mean that they were arguing about exam after the end of semester, on rearranging, we have something like this

They were arguing about the end of the first semester at the exam terms.

This means that rather than argue about exam terms, they were instead arguing about the end of the semester
