How did the war with the savages in the jungle affect life in the Mayan city?

Explanation:

War with the savages require the Mayan to sent a lot of soldiers to the battlefield. Which caused a lot of death for members of their tribes. Not only that, the people who survived and conquered were taken away to the savages' hideout and treated as slaves.

Since the attack from the savages were spread up, They Mayan lost small bits of its territory as the years goes by. The Conquests made the amount of land that they can use for their agriculture became diminished.  This is the one that caused damage to their economy.
