Booker T. Washington is known for Training negro teachers and providing all black schools. At the time he clashed with other black leaders such as W. E. B. Du Bois and drew ire for his seeming acceptance of segregation, he is recognized for his educational advancements and attempts to promote economic self-reliance among African Americans.

In October 1962, American ships blocked Soviet ships carrying missiles from going into Cuba. The Soviets and Cubans agreed to take away the missiles if America promised not to attack Cuba. During the Cuban Missile Crisis, the Kennedy administration secretly agreed to remove the Jupiter missiles from Turkey in exchange for the withdrawal of all Russian nuclear weapons from Cuba. However, it is not decided if anyone "won". The USSR lost China's support over it.

Answer: Sacajawea was born in 1788 near the salmon river in what is now Idaho. She was kidnapped in 1800 by the hidatsa tribe, enemies of the Shoshone Indians, during a Buffalo hunt. In 1804, French trader Toussaint Chardonneau bought or was given Sacajawea as payment for a gambling debt.
