Bob did the absolute wrong thing. Any item found on the ground, regardless of what it is, is not yours. In this example, Bob found money at a gas station. Chances are high that somebody dropped it by mistake after paying for gas. The right thing to do would have been to give the cash to the cashier.
I'm pretty sure grendel doesn't talk and he attacks hrothgar just for the sake of killing. But the closest thing might be D because He's his father so technically he did make grendel a monster
