ivanzaharov [21]

<u>Given:</u>

Wages payable at the beginning of the year = $1500

Wages payable at the end of the year = $5000

Salaries and wages expense as per the income statement = $112400

<u>To find:</u>

Cash paid for salaries and wages

<u>Solution:</u>

The calculation of the cash paid for salaries and wages is as follows,

Wages payable at the end of the year-Wages payable at the beginning of the year = \$5000-\$1500=\$3500

Cash paid = \$112400-\$3500=\$1,08,900

Therefore, the cash paid for salaries and wages during the year is $1,08,900.

Wages and salaries are paid by the organization or management to the workers or the employees in return for the work done by them for the company.

mr_godi [17]

Answer:

$75

Explanation:

We know,

Manufacturing overhead rate = Budgeted manufacturing overhead ÷ Budgeted direct labor hours

Given,

Budgeted manufacturing overhead = $4,500,000

Budgeted direct labor hours = 60,000

Putting the values into the manufacturing rate formula, we can get,

Manufacturing overhead rate = $4,500,000 ÷ 60,000 hours

Manufacturing overhead rate = $75 per labor hour.

When the standard amount of factory cost is allocated to the production of every unit, it is called the overhead manufacturing rate.

luda_lava [24]

Answer:

$8,770.00

Explanation:

In this question we use the present value formula i.e shown in the attachment below:

Data provided in the question

Future value = $0

Rate of interest = 0.48%

NPER = 4 years × 12 months = 48 months

PMT = $205

The formula is shown below:

= -PV(Rate;NPER;PMT;FV;type)

So, after solving this, the answer would be $8,770.00

According to the expectations theory of the term structure Question 17 options: A) yield curves should be equally likely to slop
prisoha [69]

A and C is correct

Explanation:

According to the expectations theory of the term structure :

  • The yield curves should also decrease as the slope upward.
  • Short-term prices are expected to stay fairly stable in forward whenever the return curve is sharply increasing.

Theory of expectations is focused on investors ' confidence in forward prices as future contracts represent (and some might argue predict) potential short-term interest rates.

Investors in two recent 1-year bond transactions and investing in a single two-year bond today show the same level of value.
