1. Read lines 25-47 carefully. How does Antigone summarize Creon's proclamation? How will this
eduard

1. Answer:

Antigone simply states Creon's order of not giving a proper funeral to Polynices.

1. Explanation:

This question is regarding a famous play written by Sophocles. He wrote this play in 441 BCE. These plays were 120 in total but out of which only seven survived till today.

Antigone's is the daughter of Oedipus and Jocasta. She had a very lonely childhood. The other main characters of the play are Creon, Ismene, Haemon, Eurydice of Thebes, Sentry, Polynices and Tiresias. Creon is the brother of her mother Jocasta.

2. Answer:

This ruling badly affects their family.

2. Explanation:

Since Polynices is her brother and she loves him very much. They already had a very troublesome childhood. Their mother died while their father was banished from the country hence Antigone cherished her siblings very much.

She wanted to give her brother a proper burial while Ismene solely wanted to obey the orders of the King. She did not want to make him angry. This was very hurtful for Antigone. Later in the play, Antigone kills herself too.

Answer:

this is the answer

Explanation:

In James Alan McPherson's essay “Crabs Dig Holes According to the Size of Their Shells”, he states that “something is owed to the stranger, any stranger, who seems to be in trouble. This something owed is impersonal, no more than an expression of good manners” (McPherson, 60-63).

Name some Changed perceptions about people with disabilities
sesenic [268]

Back then, these individuals had no rights and were treated like absolute trash, far less than human. These individuals would drop off their children in institutions that had disgusting living conditions (e.g.. Willowbrook Institution) or just leave them out on the streets to fend for themselves. However, in today's perspective, these individuals have more rights than they did back then. They are considered more human and now have a voice in their own affairs, sometimes the government is in charge of some of these individuals.
