Answer:

DNA replication is semi-conservative because each helix that is created contains one strand from the helix from which it was copied. The replication of one helix results in two daughter helices each of which contains one of the original parental helical strands.

A mutation is a change that occurs in our DNA sequence, either due to mistakes when the DNA is copied or as the result of environmental factors such as UV light and cigarette smoke. ... Mutations can also occur as the result of exposure to environmental factors such as smoking, sunlight and radiation.

Do you need to know if this organism grows anaerobically? if so, why? how would you determine if this organism grows anaerobical
snow_lady [41]
It is important to determine or know whether an organism is aerobic or anaerobic because from there you would be able to know the perfect conditions for the organism to grow and reproduce. If you are culturing the organism you would need if it needs oxygen and how much of oxygen is needed. Anaerobic organisms does not need the presence of oxygen in order to grow. You can determine an organism that is anaerobic by trying to put them in conditions that dos not have oxygen. After a few hours or days, when you observe that more organisms are present, then most likely it is an anaerobic organism.

What are Intramembranous and endochondral ossification?
erma4kov [3.2K]

Answer:

The direct conversion of mesenchymal tissue into bone is called intramembranous ossification .The process by which a cartilage intermediate is formed and replaced by bone cells is called endochondral osssification.

Explanation:

Intramembranous ossification is one of the two essential process during the fetal development of the gnathosome skeltal system by which rudimentary bone tissue is created. It is the process of bone development from fibrous membranes. It is involved in the formation of the flat bones of the skull, mandible and the clavicle. This type of ossification also helps in healing of bone fractures.

Endochondral Osssification: Method of forming a bone through cartilage intermediate. It is also involved in the formation of long bones.
