What was the goal of trust-busting in the early 1900s
bezimeni [28]
I believe that the most fitting answer for this question would be prosecuting "trusts," or monopolies, that were in violation of the federal Anti-Trust law. During the Progressive Era, or 1900 to 1917, trust-busting efforts were very prevalent. Roosevelt, Taft, and Wilson were especially adamant about trust-busting. Hope this helps.

What is your opinion of antebellum culture
Fed [463]
Antebellum culture was very structured and each person had a role. Gender roles and racial divide was clear and specific. The country was regionally split economically with the South relying on plantation system, the West was the food supplier, and the North becoming industrialized.

Though it is positive to have structured and self-sustained as an economic system, the culture lacked equal access for all people. America was growing in nationalism but also splitting over expansion and political issues on the brink of Civil War.

Evgen [1.6K]

Answer:

The historical circumstances that led to the Industrial Revolution was the first World War. After the first world war, the world was desparate to create new inventions and leave behind their old ways. Some of the first inventions after the war were Television and Fighter Planes. This was a political endeavor because there were many who did not want to see change happen, but the conservatives are known for driving progress forward and sparking innovation. The economic effects were grave as the industrial revolution that took place after world war one directly led to the great depression of the 1940s. The social effects meant that people were more disconnected than ever, no one ever left their home they did their shopping on qvc, and we have seen a decline in society ever since.
