Information technology was a necessity for washington at the beginning of the 20th century, as we went from an industrial era to an information age, for washington it was important through technology to be a pioneer since it is easier to use, create , manage and exchange information nationally and internationally.

Things that were previously delayed in completing, now can be done in a matter of seconds.
