Answer:

claim is if you reading something there's a claim most likely in science i would say like you are trying to gather it, rhank of it as a hypothesis but a big different because a hypothesis is what you make up before rhe experiment and a claim like automatically there when you first read it.

When was a time that you falsely judged someone, or a group, through the lens of a single story?
kirill115 [55]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

When was a time that you falsely judged someone, or a group, through the lens of a single story?

It was precisely some while ago when I falsely believed that Native American people were still living like in the 1700s, during colonial American times.

I was so wrong, and it was the product of my prejudice.

You hear stories, you do not have the criteria to go investigate and find good sources, and you simply believe what you heard. And of course, this is a great mistake.

You have to go to search for proper sources and find what is true.

And the truth is that  Native American Indian people are hard-working people, dedicated to maintaining their traditions and culture, while working in businesses, shops, hotels, services, trying to be productive and supporting their families, while being respectful to the United States laws and principles.

So please, do not believe in what you just hear. Go make your research and find the truth. Do not believe in stereotypes or prejudices.

Do you believe Mr. Sawicki’s characterization of Steve? Give evidence from the passage to support your answer.
KonstantinChe [14]
I have trouble believing Mr. Sawicki's characterization of Steve, because he knows Steve only in school. Since Mr. Sawicki does not know Steve outside of school, he cannot make a judgment about what Steve has been doing in his neighborhood or who his friends are. Sawicki says Steve is honest, but even if Steve is good or honest in Mr. Sawicki's opinion, good people can still make mistakes.
