An author's tone is basically the "voice" or attitude toward the subject of a passage and is often directly related to the purpose.

A useful way to determinate an author's tone is to envision the sound of the author's voice, as if he/she were reading the passage out loud.

An author's tone is often indicated by adjectives, such as;

Cynical, depressed, sympathetic, cheerful, outraged, positive, angry, sarcastic, prayerful, ironic, solemn, vindictive, intense, or excited.

You have been infected with the H1N1 flu virus. Describe how this virus might have entered your body, how it works to make you s
Korvikt [17]

Answer:

H1N1 is a subtype of the influenza virus, which causes the illness commonly known as the flu.

The method of contagion is the same for all flu: the virus enters the human system through the respiratory tract, mainly affecting the respiratory system (lungs, but it can also affect the throat), generating infections in these organs, which can cause a series of symptoms such as cough, excessive mucus, fever and physical discomfort.

These symptoms are attacked through different antiviral drugs, since there are no really effective antibiotics against this common disease. This, added to the existence of vaccines, means that the severity of the disease is not so important. Therefore, the antivirals in question are limiting these symptoms until the human body's own defense system defeats the virus.

Explain the socio economic factors impact on illiteracy
uranmaximum [27]
Socioeconomic factors mean the specific circumstances which inhibit an individual's abilities or opportunities based upon their financial viability and social standing. When people have fewer opportunities due to social problems, this is due to lack of education, which can often mean that a child is not encouraged to attend school to learn, or their parents have health or addiction problems resulting in a lack of inspiration or motivation to widen opportunities. As socioeconomic factors increase (limiting access to opportunities) so illiteracy rates rise.
