Rap and Hip hop today as we know it basically started in the 70s in New York City with a young man named DJ Kool Herc who basically invented hip-hop DJing,during a back to school party in 1973,DJ Kool Herc's set he tried something new he called “merry go round”.

They sculpt, knit, make little projects like that, they come up with new ways to make art. and they usualy sketch out what they are doing to help guide their work along...they do alot of neat stuff
