VikaD [51]

Answer: A. believing it is God's will.

Explanation:

Bradstreet wrote this poem after a fire that cost her her home and many material possessions. How did African Americans in the South often help Union forces?
Luden [163]

Answer:

D. They served as spies and scouts.

Explanation:

African Americans did all they could to help the Union army. This was especially true after the Emancipation Proclamation, as Lincoln attempted to free slaves from the control of Confederate states.

This was one of the many reasons why African Americans in the South helped Union forces. These citizens often acted ignorant or didn't appear to be paying attention when Southerners discussed their next military moves. African Americans would then relay this information to the Union commanders, giving them a strategic advantage.

How was the election of 1800 different from U.S. elections held today?
Andre45 [30]

The key difference is how the VP was chosen.

In the election of 1800, the VP was the runner up.

This proved to be an unworkable system and led to a system wherein the President would run with a VP.
