Answer:

No

Step-by-step explanation:

In this particular scenario, based on the numbers I would say that it does not make sense to represent this with a constant rate. That is because in a span of three years the change between each year is completely different, for example, between the first and second year there was a change of

9.75 - 8.50 = 1.25 dollar change

1.25 / 8.50 = 0.147 or a 14.7% increase

Between the second and third year, there was a change of

12 - 9.75 = 2.25 dollar change

2.25 / 9.75 = 0.23 or 23% increase

Therefore, each year the percent and dollar value increase is increasing more and more which would not be a constant rate.

You know that for any , neither sin nor cos can be greater than 1. how can you explain this using the unit circle definitions of
Feliz [49]
In the unit circle the hypotenuse of the triangle formed  is equal to radius of circle , which = 1. The point on the circle formed by the intersection of the hypotenuse  is  (cos q , sin q)  where q is the angle between the x axis and the hypotenuse.   As the hypotenuse = 1 the opposite and adjacent sides of the triangle < 1   so sin and cos of q  must both be  <= 1.

A washer and a dryer cost $745 combined. The washer costs $95 more than the dryer. What is the cost of the dryer?
krok68 [10]

Answer:

let cost of washer be x

cost of dryer be $745-x

we have

cost of washer =$95+($745-x)

x=$95+$745-x

x+x=$840

2x=$840

x=$840/2=$420

the cost of washer =$420

<h2>cost of drier </h2>

=$745-x=$745-420=$325

$325 is the cost of dryer.
