In Elenor Roosevelt's speech, the speech shows an emotional appeal that indicates the transfers of hopes from the present generation to the coming future generation. For that, the older generation must make a huge contribution to open the future for the coming generation.

In his speech, Roosevelt is arguing for education through which people can learn to live their lives with dignity. He argues to educate the children in their schools beyond the textbook teaches them. He says to teach the children the value of books and importance of libraries.

He also speaks that it is important to teach and educate our adults along with our children for the sake of education and not only for getting job.
