One time I was at a store and a little kid was trying to buy a toy with the money they had saved. The toy was about 20 dollars before taxes, and they kid only had the 20 dollars so they weren't going to be able to buy it. I offered to pay the difference, it was only like a dollar anyway. But the kid was happy they got the toy they wanted and they thanked me. It wasn't anything big, but it felt good to see the kid happy.
